Megan and Lewis chose the Italian Riviera to celebrate their wedding, the Riviera dei Fiori (Flower Riviera), the stunning part of the Ligurian coast situated in the district of Imperia, which lies on the westernmost edge of Liguria, only a stone’s throw from the French Riviera.

Getting ready on the Italian Riviera with Bridesmaids

Before the ceremony, the couple got ready in one of the most prestigious hotels of Imperia, Hotel Rossini al Teatro, surrounded by all the people dearest to them.
Megan, helped by her bridesmaids, wore an elegant and romantic lace dress embellished with a simple yet fabulous chignon. Megan was indeed a bride with a fresh and refined style for a wedding along the coast of the Italian Riviera. They got ready to enjoy their Scottish wedding on the Italian Riviera.

A romantic religious ceremony in Cervo

To swear eternal love, they chose the majestic and beautiful church of San Giovanni Battista, also known as Chiesa dei Corallini (Church of Corals), located at the top of the characteristic medieval village of Cervo, a small picturesque town perched on the side of the mountain, gifted with a breathtaking view of the sea.

The bride’s arrival at the church, reachable through characteristic little alleyways, was something out of a fairytale. Accompanied by her friends, she went to her father, who awaited her at the entrance, where the traditional sound of bagpipes welcomed her. The perfect beginning for a beautiful ceremony in a typical town in the Italian Riviera.
At the end of the wedding ceremony, the newlyweds chose the characteristic Cervo for a romantic photo shoot. The alleyways bloomed with flowers, and the spectacular sea view on the Ligurian Gulf created the perfect setting for unforgettable moments.

An authentically Italian reception in the romantic Villa Roseto in Imperia

Megan and Lewis chose Imperia and the Riviera dei Fiori to celebrate their Scottish wedding on the Italian Riviera: a location that had enthralled them a couple of years before when they went on a romantic getaway in Italy.
It is why they decided to organize their wedding reception in the beautiful Villa Roseto in Imperia.
So, when the sun set, their guests could enjoy a delicious aperitif in the Villa’s garden, surrounded by olive trees, where the newlyweds could have another romantic photo. And so begins an elegant wedding in the Italian Riviera.
We planned the wedding dinner in the Villa Roseto’s majestic veranda. Megan chose simple yet elegant decorations, using shades of white and green, for an authentic Italian wedding in a romantic villa in Imperia.

A fun evening reception in Villa Roseto: a perfect mix between Italian and Scottish traditions

After dinner, Megan and Lewis cut the cake and moved their celebrations to the Villa’s garden.
The newlyweds had their first dance surrounded by romantic olive trees and beautiful lights. It was the perfect setting for a romantic first dance as husband and wife celebrated their Scottish wedding on the Italian Riviera.
The celebrations continued until late, with Scottish dances and Italian music.
