Venice, a dreamy scenary for a protestant wedding

Flavia and Andrew are a lovely couple from California. For their wedding ceremony they chose Venice one of the most romantic city of Italy.
They choose it for its colours and its magical light projected onto the facades of ancient Venetian palaces.
Their wedding ceremony took place in the heart of Venezia. The wedding ceremony venue they chose is set on a higher point of the city so that they could enjoy a breathtaking view over the lagoon: from Chiesa della Salute up to Punta della Dogana and Chiesa di San Giorgio. Just WOW!
What a wonderful day filled with emotions and fun! The bride and groom have taken with them the happiest memory of their special day, I am sure of it.
White orchis and white roses made their wedding decor incredibly stylish while the music of a string quartet created an unique atmosphere for their enchanting wedding in Venice.

Getting ready in Venice style

The most exciting moment is always getting ready moments! But getting ready in a very fancy hotel in Venice with an outstanding Grand Canal– front terrace looks like a real dream!
Flavia and her bridesmaids were surrounded by an unbelievable setting during their preparation. Once ready, they had some photos on the rooftop terrace overlooking Chiesa della Salute and Venice skyline.

A wedding ceremony on a terrace overlooking Venice

Flavia chose a splendid terrace overlooking Venice skyline for her protestant wedding ceremony.
A white wedding arch, two sumptuous white flower arrangements at both sides of it and a string quartet’s music created the atmosphere for to walk down the aisle.

Gondola is the best way to appreciate the Venice beauty hidden among the canals. Here you can really admire a perspective of the city otherwise impossible to enjoy while walking along the calli (Venetian paths)

Oriental touches for the dinner party on the terrace

The music started upon the bride and groom’s arrival. Since Andrew has Eastern origin, oriental music had been chosen for the welcome aperitif.
White flowers were the real stars of the evening: on the tables, high floral arrangements were supported by elegant transparent glass vases.
When bride and groom and their guests were all sit at the wedding reception table, before the dinner started, belly dancers performed around tables and the atmosphere became lively and bubbly!

A waterfall of orchis and golden ribbons decorated the four-tiered wedding cake.
After the cutting of the cake, newlyweds opened the dances over the notes of If I ain’t got you by Alicia Keys while Venice by night in front of them was the most romantic scenery they’ve ever seen.
